Giving Back

Teens BOLD in their Service to God & Peers

"The BOLD team is a group of fun, faith filled teenagers who gather together to serve Christ and His Church. As a group, we lead small group activities and
discussions for 7th - 8th grade Faith
Formation classes, chaperone field trips, and complete community service work. I
decided to join the BOLD team to stay connected with the youth ministry at St. John's after I completed Faith Formation and Confirmation. The BOLD team has helped to solidify my faith because, in
order to be an example for others, you must first must have a solid foundation for your own faith. I chose to volunteer at St. John's because not only do Brad & Libby make it a ton of fun, but I get to deepen my faith while helping others grow in theirs!"

About BOLD
Short for Becoming Our Lord's
Disciples, the BOLD team is an
opportunity for senior high teens to give back to their peers while growing in their own faith and leadership skills. Members serve by leading small groups for Junior High Faith Formation or Confirmation, and acting as peer leaders at Junior High events. They also attend a weekend retreat and
different training sessions.
