Building a Stronger Faith Community
Ministry Opportunities - 2007

SHARED MINISTRY

Shared Ministry is the lifelong task and responsibility
held in common by all baptized Christians
to use their own unique gifts, talents, and personhood
to build up the Kingdom of God.

St. John the Baptist is a community which helps us
to realize our baptismal call
by forming, supporting, and nurturing us
in a spirit of mutuality, for service both within and
beyond our parish community.

In Shared Ministry, you become part of
St. John the Baptist!

An invitation to use our God-given gifts in ministry to help build community and serve others:

This leaflet has been prepared as a resource guide to the many time and talent ministry opportunities within our parish. We hope that you, our parishioners, will be inspired by the numerous outreach programs and ministries at St. John's, and that you will step forward as volunteer ministers to help our parish to remain vital!

For additional information about any of our ministries, please call the Parish Office at (651) 633-8333, and you will be directed to the appropriate resource person. Thank you.
