The fall Growing Through Loss series continues on Thursday evenings through October 18 at Nativity Lutheran Church on 3312 Silver Lake Road in St. Anthony. Growing Through Loss might be a place for you to find what you are seeking as you struggle with the losses in your life.
Registration is taken at each session. You may attend any one or all of the programs, and donations are welcome. Childcare is available free of charge. Each evening begins with registration from 6:45 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. A speaker on a grief or loss-related topic talks from 7:00 p.m. - 7:45 p.m., and small groups follow from 8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Groups are formed based on types of loss, such as loss of spouse, child, parent, friend, or sibling; divorce; suicide survivor; and transitional loss (such as moving, job loss, and financial setbacks). These are peer support groups with a facilitator and confidentiality is stressed.
