	Happy Father's Day! Preschoolers Dish on Their Dads


	Father's Day Sunday, June 17 The Little Lights preschoolers at St. John's want us to remember something very important: Father's Day is Sunday, June 17. To let everyone know what their dads mean to them, the Little Lights have graciously agreed to shared their wisdom:

"I like roughhousing with him. That's when I rough him up and jump on him. And sometimes I jump on his belly."

Mason, age 4

"He has a special birthday... it's a secret."

Sarah, age 4

"My dad let me plant a garden. He bought some seeds for me for my garden. And he goes to work very early. He's gonna dig my garden, and I'm gonna drop in the seeds for them to grow. I love him like 600 minutes!"

Lleyton, age 5

ST. JOSEPH, MODEL OF FATHERHOOD, PRAY FOR US!

"I like to get my dad's belly button sometimes, then he tries to get mine, but I protect it with my hands. He tickles me, and he makes me laugh. My daddy gives me presents and that's what's special about him. And you know what else? He gave me a brand new Chinese doll. And you know what else? He gave me a dress from Africa. My daddy gave me flowers for Christmas. And we also go swimming with him in the deep water where there's no lifeguard. When I start to drown, I flip over and stick my belly up and stick my arms out, and I'm flat like a pancake. Then Dad swims to me and he rescues me."

Rosie, age 6

"I want him to be with me always, even when the ambulance comes to pick me up. And I want him to be with me when I'm sick. And I love him and I like him and he likes my superpowers. I love you, Dad!"
