Discipleship Opportunities for Youth grades 6-12
Middle School Youth Group
Middle School Youth Group is offered to 6th-8th graders one Wednesday a month. Our goal is to let our children build relationships and deal with social/current events from a Catholic perspective. We want to have lots of FUN, too! Other events, retreats, etc. will be offered as well!
Extreme Faith Camp (Middle School)
Extreme Faith Camp includes:
- Boating
- Water slides
- Beach
- Water balloon wars
- Mountain boarding
- Archery
- Mud tug-of-war
- Bonfires
- Sports
- Games
These and tons of other awesome activities are included with junior high teens from around the twin cities. It features Mass, small groups, talks, prayer, Reconciliation, Adoration, music and dramas designed to help your faith come alive!
High School Youth Group
Coming June 2019.
High School Youth Group is offered all year for 9-12th graders on Sundays from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. No registration necessary for drop-ins and large groups.
Those wanting to be part of an ongoing D-Group will need to register!
Confirmation Preparation for Teens
Confirmation preparation is a two-year program beginning in 8th grade, with the Sacrament of Confirmation celebrated in the spring of 9th grade.
Encounter Confirmation 1 (C1) is for 8th graders and is focused on the encounter with Christ and how to sustain the relationship. The first half of the year is the Encounter – we accomplish this through lived experiences of the presence of Christ through retreat opportunities and events. The second half of the year is spent learning how to sustain that encounter through a life of prayer and sacramental living. There is no formal session time for this year of preparation. Dates of events and activities will be given out at the fall orientation.
Light the Fire Confirmation 2 (C2) is for 9th graders and is focused on New Life in Christ through the Holy Spirit. We work on developing a spirit of generosity and a sense of mission. Confirmation 2 meets as part of senior high ministry on Sunday nights from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
