Adoration

Can you spare an hour for our Lord?

At St. John’s, perpetual adoration is a powerful opportunity to spend one-on-one time with our Lord in the Eucharist. Adoring our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament unleashes God’s grace for our lives and for the life of our parish, our church, and our world.

As a faith community, we recognize the privilege of perpetual adoration and are witnesses to the many blessings that flow from it. We are committed to evangelizing others through the power and beauty of this intimate encounter with Jesus Christ.

The parishioners of St. John the Baptist have committed to providing 24-hour Eucharistic adoration throughout the week for over eight years. Parishioners and visitors are invited to pray before the Blessed Sacrament with these committed adorers. The adoration chapel can be accessed through the church (during normal business hours) or through the outside entryway after business hours. To maintain a safe environment, the door code is provided to registered adorers. Please email sjbadoration@gmail.com for more information and to sign up for your hour.

The chapel is closed during the Easter Triduum and from 4:30 Saturday evenings until after the 5:30 Mass on Sunday evenings.
