Called Forth to Serve
FallFest is two weeks away! We are pumped for another fantastic FallFest. Our goal last year was to bring many people back on campus and restore the FallFest to life. This year we desire to call people forth to FallFest to serve and make it a great event and call people forth from FallFest into deeper communion with Christ. Last weekend, our Director of Parish Life, Jessica Balzarini wrote about our SJB Field Team that will call people forth to other opportunities here at SJB. We pray for the Field Team and their important work.
In addition to their important work, we need you to partner with us and make FallFest a success. We need people to sell tickets, to serve food, to work the kids games, and much more. Called Forth to Vote
We are approaching the Midterm Elections. As part of being a faithful Catholic, we have a responsibility to be a faithful citizen and vote. To help understand what the Catholic Church teaches on various political issues, we are excited to offer you the opportunity to learn from Catholic Answers’ speaker Tim Staples right here at SJB on Tuesday, September 27 at 7:00 pm. He will help us understand Catholic Principles for voting and how to form our consciences. We will also have a representative from Minnesota Family Council here who will help us understand the various candidates and their positions as we prepare to vote on November 8th.
