Dear Parishioners and Friends of St. John’s,
We are off and running with the planning stages of our “Restore to Gather” Capital Campaign! I am incredibly grateful for the Steier Group who is helping lead us through this exciting time for our parish and our school.
One of the biggest keys to laying a strong foundation for our campaign is that we must assemble a strong volunteer team. Any sports team that wants to have a winning season needs to have strong fundamentals, and our volunteer team will be the foundation for this upcoming campaign effort. This weekend, I want to publicly acknowledge and thank two groups of people that have accepted the invitation to serve on this team.
The first group of people I want to acknowledge and thank are those that have said “Yes” to being “Honorary Chair Members.” I am honored and blessed to work with them as our dedicated parish trustees. They are FULLY behind the campaign and are personally supporting the campaign spiritually and financially. A heartfelt thank you to:
Marian Briggs
David Tucci
In addition to the Honorary Chairs, we are thankful to those who have responded generously to the invitation to serve as campaign leaders. These parishioners have agreed to not only serve as General Chairs to oversee our efforts and to implement a successful campaign but have also committed to spiritually and financially supporting the campaign themselves:
Greg and Barb Beyer
Larry Gillespie
Ricky and Stephanie Longnecker
Joel and Jill Munsinger
Mike and Beth Robertson
Marty Schutz
Lastly, many of you will be getting calls, letters, and campaign-related information over the next six months, because we count on you to be part of our team. You are also the “fuel” that will propel us forward! Please be attentive to these important communications related to our “Restore to Gather” campaign. If you are invited to participate with your time, your talent and/or your treasure, I pray that you will consider responding with a generous spirit.
As the Father loves me, so I also love you!
Father Paul Shovelain
