What’s Happening at St. John’s Nov. 14-15?

Our parish has a lot of activity coming up next weekend, November 14-15:

• If you ordered Butter Braids you can pick them up starting this Friday, November 13, between noon and 3:00 PM and also after all Masses this coming weekend.

• The used clothing drive will begin this week. Please bring in any gently worn clothes, shoes, and linens to the parish. Our 8th-grade students will be in the plaza collecting the clothes after all Masses next weekend. Also on November 16 & 17 after school.

• The 8th-grade students are also selling poinsettias to raise money for their trip to Washington, D.C. this spring. Order forms are in the church plaza. The poinsettias will arrive the first week of December.

• And lastly, the annual parish turkey dinner will be on Sunday, November 15, although it will be take-out dinners only. You can pre-order your dinners online here. We are still in need of volunteers to help with the dinner and are in need of more PIES (apple and pumpkin) for the dinner if you can help with that. Due to health regulations, only store-bought pies, please. You can drop your pie(s) off on Friday, November 13 or Saturday, November 14.  To volunteer contact Stephanie Waite at sjw576@gmail.com or Rita Arndorfer at arndorferr@stjohnnyb.org.

Have a good week, everyone!
