As you embark on this parish-wide spiritual journey toward Eucharistic Consecration, you are invited to spend about 15 minutes each day with the book 33 Days to Eucharistic Glory given out at our Christmas Masses.
Starting on January 1, you’ll read a chapter a day. The act of Consecration is to devote yourself to God, making yourself available to do His will in your life. In particular, you will be consecrating yourself to Jesus in the Eucharist. We are excited for our parish to embark on this journey as it fits well into the National Eucharistic Revival, Archdiocesan Synod them of the Mass and the Eucharist, and our own St. John’s theme of Transformation.
Week One: During the week we’ll move into the section entitled The Eucharist and the Saints. Be encouraged by our brothers and sisters in faith who model Eucharistic devotion. Each day you can incorporate the Virtue of the Day and pray the Spiritual Communion. Our parish will recite the Eucharistic Consecration prayer during Mass on February 1-2.
Daily conversation starters are linked below for families and friends to engage with each day.
Small groups are invited to use the study guide below.
